J. I. Packer has a book of what was intended to be notes for a study Bible. Instead, he has put them into book form. This little work is shot and to the point, but very helpful. It is written on a level that most beginner Christians that are hungry would be able to value greatly from it contents. It is also written in very short segments allowing those who are not inclined to read to enjoy a book about theology. I have given my copy to a relatively young believer in my congregation. I have also asked our youth leader to read through it.
